Familiar hymns, plain preaching
We sing songs many of us grew up on and hear straightforward teaching from Scripture. You'll be able to follow along even if it's your first time in a Bible.
Wear what you own
Some folks come in a jacket, some come in jeans straight from a Saturday of yard work. Both are right at home here.
Kids are welcome in the room
Wiggles, questions and dropped crayons don't bother us. Families sit together, and we're happy to point you toward what's available for children.
Someone will look for you
Tell us it's your first visit and we'll walk you in, introduce you to a few people, and make sure you're not standing in the lobby alone.

Sunday worship
Congregational singing, prayer, and preaching through books of the Bible, verse by verse. The whole church gathers together.
Bible study for all ages
Small classes where you can ask real questions, learn the Scriptures, and get to know a handful of people by name.
Children & youth
Age-appropriate teaching, games, and caring adults who want your kids to know they are loved by their church.
Prayer ministry
Share a burden with us and it gets carried. Members pray through requests for our church, our city, and one another.
Missions & outreach
We support gospel work near and far, and we look for practical ways to serve families right here in Rockdale County.
Care for one another
Meals after a hospital stay, visits with our homebound members, a phone call in a hard week. Ordinary, steady love.

Milstead Baptist Church is a Baptist congregation in Conyers, Georgia, made up of families, students, retirees, and newcomers who have found a spiritual home here. We hold to the Bible as the Word of God and to the good news that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We aren't a big-production church; we're a family that keeps showing up for one another, week after week.
